Pawty Tour Rules
Responsible Dog Owner Waiver
We believe responsible dog ownership begins with the person behind the leash, not the dog themselves. All attendees are asked to sign our waiver stating they are responsible for their dog’s behavior. View waiver
1 Dog + 1 Human (Patio Events Only)
A dog’s happiness and safety should be an owner’s first priority when deciding whether they should take their dog to an event. Due to limited space on patios and safety being our utmost priority, this rule was created to keep all dogs happy and comfortable. Read more
Retractable Leashes NOT Permitted
Retractable dog leashes (including bungee leashes) can cause harm to both people and dogs. For dogs, the extended leash of a retractable leash can get wrapped up in the dog’s legs, causing difficulties walking, and in some scenarios, leg injuries. Read more
Dogs Must Be Spayed or Neutered
At BYOD, we are focused on the health and safety of all dogs that join our community. Our main reason for requiring dogs to be spayed or neutered is to help eradicate canine overpopulation, support local spay and neuter programs, and share the health benefits of properly spaying or neutering. Additionally, BYOD applies the spay and neuter rule to take in consideration the reproductive concerns for dogs in open environments. Like humans, every dog is different. We encourage owners to consult with a veterinarian on the appropriateness and timing of spaying or neutering an individual dog. Spaying/neutering are major surgeries and the decision to spay or neuter a dog should be made by the dog’s owner in conjunction with their veterinarian. Read More

No Outside Food, Treats, or Toys
Dogs can become territorial in guarding everything they consider their possessions, such as food, treats, and toys; therefore, it is best to leave their possessions at home. Read More
No Smoking in the Vicinity of Dogs
This includes e-cigarettes. Like humans, researchers have found exposure to secondhand smoke can also have negative effects on canine respiratory function. Read More
